Be Strong in the Lord 2.jpg

Being In God's Word

The New Testament confirms this: “All Scripture is God-breathed and useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work” ( 2 Tim. 3:16-17).

As we read and hear the written Word, may we learn more about God's relationship with us and the sacrifice he made for our salvation!

Bible Study on
on the Going Conflict Between the Arabs/Israelis

Indeed, the war in Israel is on the minds of many and causes great concern.  I am sure many of you are being asked, “What can we do?”  I will trust the Lord to guide you in your response.

However, I do encourage you to regularly be holding this situation and all those impacted up in public prayer.  I am also attaching a Bible Study prepared by the 4th Vice President of Synod, Rev. Nabil S. Nour, who is from Israel.  You may find this useful.

Yes, we pray for peace, but most of all we pray for the Lord to use even this conflict to lead more to come to experience the only true source of hope and peace, the Prince of Peace, Jesus!

Serving together,

James

Memory Verse

Week of November 26, 2023

Read the verse through several times thoughtfully, aloud or in a whisper. This will help you grasp the verse as a whole. Each time you read it, say the topic, reference, verse, and then the reference again out loud. Discuss the verse with God in prayer, and ask for His help memorizing Scripture.

The Bible tells us that we are saved by grace through faith in Christ Jesus and not by our own efforts or works (Ephesians 2:8-9). Grace Alone. Faith Alone.

As Christians saved by God’s Grace, we are compelled to share this Good News freely. At Our Redeemer Lutheran Church we are proclaiming the Gospel worldwide 24/7 over our internet radio station: LIVE365:Lutheran. People of all ages can hear the Word of God taught, preached, and sung in English—with plans to include other languages in the future. It is our prayer that many will come to faith, through the work of the Holy Spirit, by listening and accepting God’s marvelous Grace!

Tune in to hear God’s Word today!
