Every One His Witness

Your sister church, St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Middleburg, would like to invite Holy Cross members to our EVERY ONE HIS WITNESS workshop that we are hosting on January 28th and February 4th from 8:30 am to 1:00 pm. It is a FREE event but we need an RSVP from anyone who is planning on attending.

8:30 AM to 9:00 AM - Breakfast

9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon - Workshop

12:00 Noon to 1:00 PM - Lunch

Valentine's for Veterans

First Coast Group – Thrivent is helping spread the love this Valentine’s Day by participating in a collection drive for veterans and our military troops worldwide. We are partnering with Soldiers’ Angels out of Texas, and local veteran places.

Ways to participate:

​

  • Buy valentines cards and drop them off at the office or to Holy Cross Lutheran Church

  • Buy valentines cards and write a sweet short note of thanking them for their service.

  • Donate for shipping of the cards-checks made payable to Soldiers Angels, $1 is the postage for each card.

  • Host a valentine card making or signing party with your members

  • Gather the cards, get all together, and write a short, sweet note in each card.

All Valentine’s cards must be sent or dropped off to our Jacksonville Office at 4887 Belfort Rd, Suite 109 OR AT Holy Cross Lutheran Church by February 7th, 2023, by 12pm.

​

First Coast Group – Thrivent will be sponsoring the postage for the first 500 cards that we receive to mail.

​

Each card can be:

  • Store-bought or handmade.

  • Best to keep it general in the note- “Thank you for your service”.

  • Cards will be going to men/women.

  • Envelope may be included-but not necessary and not sealed.

 

*If you want to include a return address you may if you choose
